KitWatchdog is aimed at people in the UK. This notice covers the price site and the optional email alerts. There are no accounts.

What we collect

• An email address, if you ask for alerts, plus a random unsubscribe token.
• The product you asked to watch, if you used the form on a product page.
• Ordinary server logs from the host (Netlify): IP address, browser and the page requested. Those logs are kept by the host under its own retention rules.

We do not ask for a name, payment card, or password. We do not sell the address list.

Why

The email list is processed so we can send the alert you asked for. The lawful basis is the step you took to request that service, and our legitimate interest in running a price site. You can unsubscribe in one click, or email hello@kitwatchdog.co.uk and ask us to delete the address.

How long

Alert addresses stay until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion. Price history is about products, not about you, and is kept so the charts remain useful.

Who else sees it

If email sending is switched on, Resend (or a later provider named in the environment) receives the address in order to deliver the message. The site may later show display ads. If that happens, this page will name the ad provider before any non-essential cookie is set. It is not set today.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of the email record, a correction, or deletion. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. Contact hello@kitwatchdog.co.uk. KitWatchdog does not publish a personal name or a postal address; write to the email and we will respond.
