Affiliate disclosure

KitWatchdog is a price site. Some links to shops are affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission. That does not change the price the shop charges you, and it does not change whether a price is called a deal.

What is live today

• Amazon UK Associates: used only when AMAZON_UK_ASSOCIATE_TAG is set. The tag is added to amazon.co.uk links, which then use rel="sponsored".
• Awin and brand programmes: used only when a publisher id and a merchant id are set for that shop. The link goes through Awin and is marked sponsored.
• Until those values exist, buttons go straight to the official shop and say they are direct links. They are not marked as sponsored.

Editorial rule

Deal flags come from the price rules in the about page: recent medians, a new low, or a was-price that survives the fake-RRP guards. A shop does not pay to be included, and a commission does not raise a product up the deals list.

Display advertising is not on the site yet. If it is added, it will be labelled as an ad.
